Unfortunately I love Legos so much that I won't stop buying Legos. I buy a set and lose the receipt a few weeks later I bring it back to exchange it they want to clip me $20. Now I buy thousands of dollars of Legos and I'm not exaggerating. I have 1000 ft.² of space that is dedicated to collecting sets and keeping them sealed my three kids also are avid Lego enthusiasts that build Legos like crazy. So you can say we are a Lego crazy family. But for them to stick to a rule that can easily be overturned and when you call Lego corporate they apologize and not only give you the price that you paid but also throw in an extra $30 worth of Lego money because of the inconvenience it tells you very straightforward that they did the wrong job. Unfortunately their GM Mark loves to say a bunch of Vocab enriched nonsense to bypass the reality of the situation which is we don't care about the customer. You buy the set from that store you have a VIP track record of the transaction and you have the credit card where you used to buy it and it's still not enough for them to honor what you paid for it
