I went to an event for my wife's work. The inside of the hotel was very nice. The lobby and event rooms were nice. Parking was a bit odd. The hotel had the bar to the parking entrance up. I think we walked through an open (not fenced in) alley to get to the hotel and someone from our group let us in the door. This area may be fenced of in the future. For overnight guests, you check in at the front. Five points safety is ok, but it is not a super safe area.
Nice, clean rooms. Enjoyed the proximity to the restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly. Hot breakfasts were better than average. Only complaints would be (1) drapes don't close all the way so room can't be blacked out during the early A.M. and (2) it seemed a little petty to charge $10/day for self parking.
Very nice hotel! Rooms are spacious & clean, full kitchen and easy access to surrounding venues & restaurants. A must stay if you're in the Birmingham area.
Really enjoyed our stay here at Homewood Suites! The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing, and the room was fantastic! Nice patio out back with access to grill out and hang out! Great Indoor pool and all in a perfect location! Definitely will return!
I love this hotel. Very comfortable rooms and located near 5 Points South, perfect area. Gorgeous bathrooms, too. My favorite hotel when I come to Birmingham.
