Pros and Cons about my stay here. I uploaded some pictures as well.
* Big enough gap in the drain at the hotel entrance to possible damage your vehicle
* Nice looking wood furniture
* Has washer/dryer for all residents to use
* Stove dials don’t have any temperature readings.
* Dirty towels
* Dried toothpaste left on the sink counter
* Stains on the desk chair
* No pool (If you were looking to go swimming)
* No Elevator
I recently stayed approximately 7 months at the Extended Stay of America in Homewood, AL. Mandy, Lula and the rest of the staff (including the cleaning staff) were excellent! Mandy fixed me up in a room on the bottom floor that had just been renovated. Working in construction management, I travel a lot. This was one of my favorite places that I have stayed in the last 5 years! Sure, there were a couple of people that stayed either overhead or beside that were louder than normal, but it was quickly taken care of with a call to the front desk.
* Card reader on room door takes multiples tries to unlock the door
* Chicken wing left in the cabinets
* Internet went out completely for 2 days.
* Friendly staff
* Grab and go breakfast
The location and area were lovely and accessible with multiple restaurants within easy access. Staff was friendly and the grounds well kept. While lovely at the surface, the room lacked working a/c and there were some housekeeping concerns.
* Broken pull out couch
* Paid $25 for the 2.5x faster internet and it was still not very good. It wouldn’t load crunchyroll and barely wants to load Netflix.
Yolanda and Debra have been great to me before I even stayed. They went above and beyond to accommodate me. Thank you so much .
* Someone from the cleaning staff took one of my energy drinks out of the fridge
* Very dirty TV remote
* HDMI works on the TV
* Working AC unit
* Red substance smeared on the wall and carpet that was never cleaned up
* Full size fridge with freezer, microwave, & stove/oven
Very nice and clean, there is no swimming pool, it's non smoking, there is a smoking section outside. Easy access to Shopping and restaurants and very secluded. Excellent price for $76. However there are no elevators but it's only 3 floors.
* Internet constantly disconnects and remains off for several minutes or several hours.
* Spacious room
* Stains all over the carpet
