I enjoyed my stay at this location. Our suite room was large and open with great lighting. The room was clean as was the pool. The lobby looked fantastic and the workers were great and very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic (I am a huge fan of make your own waffle at hotels)!
1) The location is very convenient to both a Walmart and various restaurants without having to venture too far from the hotel's area. 2) The staff are very friendly and helpful. Any errors that occurred with my keys were fixed and any questions I had we're quickly answered. 3) The free breakfast buffet is standard in regards of offerings and variety, nothing to write home about but it is indeed there. 4) The Manager's Reception was a welcomed addition. Two free drinks (alcoholic) and free snack food is a big plus. 5) The room layout is indeed spacious, with a movable work desk, plenty of outlets for electronics and chargers and even an in-room mini fridge and microwave. 6) The vanity area is spacious enough to house even extreme amounts of beauty products. 7) The shower was above standard. The shower head offers many options and the water gets hot instantly and stays hot even for long showers. 8) TV location is awkward, stuck in a halfway point between the bed and living area sofa. TV quality can be rather iffy. 9) The wifi is very fast and reliable, no latency issues whatsoever. 10) The beds are slightly harder than I'd like, but the comforter is warm and soft, and the pillows are very plush. 11) A very big closet and a chest of drawers are among some of the many storage options perfect for longer stays. 12) Plenty of lighting available including lamps framing the couch in the living area and bed-side and reading lamps frame the bed alongside the lighting behind the headboard.
In my opinion, if those are the only complaints I can think of, it was a great place to stay!!
EASY ACCESS FROM I-65 IN BIRMINGHAM. VERY NICE, CLEAN, WELL KEPT FACILITY. PARKING NEAR ENTRANCES WAS CONVENIENT WITH GOOD ACCESS TO ROOMS. LOBBY EXPERIENCE WAS QUICK AT CHECK-IN WITH A VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF. QUIET ROOMS WITH NICE FURNISHINGS, AND THE BED WAS GREAT. INDOOR POOL AREA WELL KEPT WITH PLENTY OF CHAIRS AND TABLES. BREAKFAST WAS WELL PRESENTED WITH AN ABUNDANT SELECTION OF FOOD. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. IN FACT, I RECOMMENDED THIS B/W+ TO MY DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY FOR THEIR TRIPS FROM INDIANAPOLIS TO FLORIDA. (PS. I HAVE NO PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION WITH BEST WESTERN). ENJOY YOUR STAY!
Only 2 downsides. 1) the clock in the pool wasn't working and 2) the TV turned itself on in the middle of the night (but the volume was down so it didn't wake any of us up).
The layout of the hotel rooms to the lobby was a little confusing but if you look at the map on your room door, you can figure it out.
Love it! Nice sized rooms, neat & tidy. Big bed, king-size, I believe. Small gym near the pool on second floor. Had most of what I needed for a good workout, though. Cordial people. Nice breakfast area doubles for a snack area in the evening with free snack food & drinks.
Our first time at this property. Extremely well run, updated, neat and clean clean. Breakfast was very good with an attendant. Suites were very nice and roomy and lacked nothing. Property was clean, neat, well lit with plentiful easy parking. This will be our new go to in Bham.
