Good quality clothes, but DO NOT USE THEIR ALTERATIONS DEPARTMENT.

I had a bad experience and from what I could tell, I wasn't the only customer having issues with my alterations. The (alterations) lady running it was unorganized and couldn't remember the dates she told me for deadlines. I had to make multiple trips to the store because my clothes weren't ready.
I noticed the review about alterations and I have not had alterations done there. However I am a large man and to be honest if you fail to chose an appropriate size for your pants to start with then no amount of alteration can prevent the failure of a seam when it is stressed too much. It certainly does not warrant a one star review
I have found the quality of their cloths to be fantastic and there prices to be far better than any other company I have found be it brick and mortar or online. I will probably do all of my shopping for high quality cloths at DXL so long as their quality continues to be equal to or superior to anything you can get at a traditional store.

I had to get an emergency alteration in another state because I was getting married and my suit was in terrible shape: The sleeves were different lengths and the crease on the pants was crooked. The alterations person I used has been in alterations over 30 years and said her work was sloppy and thrown together. She also said that Destination XL used glue to hem the pants. GLUE!
i visited the store and purchased a suit for a funeral. The young lady measured me and was very patient ive must have tried on at least 4 suits before i could decide which suite i wanted. overall great store great workers. I will be shopping there more often.
To their credit, Destination XL did give me a partial refund for the emergency alterations. So far they are not wanting to refund the $$ for the ripped seam.
The pants hem had to be redone, as well as the crease in the pants, and one sleeve had to be fixed.
They have great service. Every shopping experience has been very positive and the sales people are extremely helpful.
Then the seam of my pants split at my wedding reception. The split was right down the seam from my crotch to the seat of my pants. I just got the pants repaired, and again, shoddy alterations work on the part of Destination XL. The person that repaired the pants said there was only four stiches holding the seam.
