The first person I talked to at the Colonnade couldn't figure it out either and said she would call me back. About 15 minutes later I get a call from the optician who couldn't even tell me how many boxes of contacts she sold me! And she couldn't give me an itemized receipt or explain why I wasn't charged in full at the time of sale.
Require dilation. If you don't want to be dilated its a $40 upcharge for a different procedure. Have been getting eye exams for 15+ years and never had to be dilated before coming here. Staff is nice and knowledgable but very sly about the crazy fees they charge. Prices for their frames are outrageous, require many bogus add-ons for frames. Ended up spending $400 on frames that I hardly use because they're not centered properly. Tried to be them to fix it and they originally tried to just make me purchase new lenses for $200. How do these people live with themselves?
I received a $40 invoice a month after my appointment without explanation. I called the main accounting office and they didn't know why I was being charged. They told me to call the Colonnade location directly.
It's obvious they made a mistake on my invoice, but they refuse to admit it. I'm very disappointed. The doctor is great, but the customer service leaves much to be desired.

Customer service was outstanding. Personalized service. In all my years in healthcare on both sides, I've never had a doctor send me a hand written note as a new patient, thanking me for coming in and checking on me. The receptionist, Ivy, is a sweetheart and knows me by name and Jacob who works in the vision center is fantastic. He helped me get the best glasses as the best price and I've gotten numerous compliments on them. In fact, my doctor keeps telling me I shouldn't ever wear my contacts again because my glasses look so great. Thank you so much, everyone!
Had Lasik Surgery this year, up front with all costs. Despite what some people have posted Dr. Schaeffer is not the one performing the Lasik procedure and they never tell you he is. Dr Woolfson from the Woolfson Eye Institue is the one performing the operation and does a great job.
