I also liked that they have an online portal available to fill out patient forms in advance, as well as the ability to view a summary of my visit and treatment plan. I would definitely recommend Narrows Family Eye Care to others.
Dr. Palmer and team were so patient and informative. It didn't feel like a traditional Dr's office. They made the experience enjoyable and easy. Highly recommend them!!
Dr. Lewis is amazing with my children. Staff is very friendly and helpful and our glasses have always come in when promised (within a couple of weeks).
Six weeks and still waiting for my son's prescription to come in. This is insane. None of my family will be returning here. I wish they had not made us pay up front so we could just go somewhere else. I have no idea when my son will get his glasses. This has been the worst experience.
I went for a medical (not vision) related eye issue. I felt like the Dr. Palmer listened attentively to my concerns and history; and following a thorough exam, addressed all of them. She came up with a good treatment/ follow up plan and explained the reasoning behind her decisions. Within a few hours of the visit I got a call from Dr. Palmer herself, saying that my prescription should be ready to pick up at my pharmacy and that she had set up a referral appointment for the week I had requested. It was a nice personal touch which made me feel like she not only cares about her patients, but also is a thoughtful communicator.
Narrows Family Eye Care does a great job every time I am in there. I came in for an exam and was done within 30 minutes of my arriving. They are efficient at getting you in and out and keeping you on schedule. Dr. Palmer is very personable and takes her time to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. They also offer a wide selection of attractive eye glasses and contacts. I highly recommend them if you live in the Birmingham area.
Great experience. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and during my visit. She called my insurance company to discuss my coverage without any prompting from me, which I appreciated. I was able to get a next day appointment and the office is conveniently located, just off 280 at the Narrows.
