I am truly appalled at the service that not only I had at Narrows Family Eye Care, but my sister now has damage to her cornea and has to have surgery to see if it can be corrected! I was given the wrong prescription on my first visit and when I called back to tell them that I could not see out of my glasses and I was told to just wait and give it more time. I did not wait and went and got a second opinion within the next few days and my prescription was TOTALLY different than what Dr. Palmer gave to me. I wrote a review on the facebook page for Narrows Family Eye Care and she responded telling me "I am sure that the quarter your prescription was off did not affect your vision." REALLY???? My prescription should not have been off at all!! It was NOT off a "quarter" it was completely wrong. My sister had blisters on her cornea that have been there for a while now and on February 10, 2015 Dr. Palmer put eye plugs in her tear ducts that cost $175 and after 2 weeks of having them in my sister called back to the office to tell them that her eyes were still not any better and she was told just like I was "you need to give it more time." Instead of trying to help fix the issue, which is what doctors are supposed to do, she dismissed the problem and now my sister has cornea damage and is having to spend a lot more money to have surgery. Also, in the doctor notes from Dr. Palmers office she falsified information about my sister that was not true and said that she had Lasik Eye Surgery when in fact she DID NOT and never has. I cannot stress enough how important your eyes are, not to mention now that if my sister would have left her eye condition un treated as Dr. Palmer recommended her to do she would have probably been permanently blind in less than a few years.
