When I realize I had cataracts growing I carefully looked for a doctor that I thought could handle the surgery. Dr. Marc Michelson came to the top of the list. Surgery was completed in August 2017 and a special lens was implanted that allowed me to throw away glasses that I had worn all time for more than 50 years. I now have 20/20 without glasses. You may want to give Dr. Michelson a call if you are looking for first class eye care.
Had a long wait with a very painful broken collar bone. But once in a room in the ER, the staff and treatment were great. They admitted me and placed me on the 4th floor that night, which the attending dr was horrible and wouldn't help me with the pain. However, in the morning staff change, the new attending dr helped me with the pain meds that was so much needed just to get some rest. Thank you.
I remember being wheeled into the OR, then waking up high as a kite. Then I was taken to a room where I continued feeling groovy all weekend. Room service, free Wi-Fi, cable TV. I couldn't have a BM though. Well, my wounds have healed nevertheless.
Horrible horrible service. I was waiting forever just to be seen. Like 3 hours forever. I have sickle cell disease so I was having a pain crisis && the pain was really bad && they just discharged me after giving me 2 doses of medicine which didn't work
The nurses were all nice however the doctor assigned to me by the name of Kriston Leigh Drouant was probably as bad as the doctors at UAB West in Bessemer. She treated me how she wanted not caring about the fact that I'm still in severe pain and no where close to my intended pain goal.
