Love this place. My mother, my friend, and myself went to UAB dental school for my mother to have some dental work done. There is a parking lot for this area of town. If you leave the parking lot without your UAB token ($3) you pay $20. So while mom was in the dentist's office, my friend and I went to Newks on the other side of the parking lot within walking distance. Good food, nice environment, clean restrooms, pleasant passage of time!
Staff was very helpful, even though it was very close to closing. Food was great as always.
They always have good food. Plenty of healthy options that are delicious. My favorite is the tomato basil soup and Southern Salad.
