Awesome service!! Our waitress was Natasha and she performed an outstanding service, was very polite, and made us feel at home!! Definitely recommend, I will be back for sure!! The food is delicious!!
Sunday Brunch before a holiday is always bad, but on the whole, Village Tavern food and services have been going down hill for months. The venue is close and convenient but the last several times, the food was cold, the wait staff was either given too many tables or just not responsive. I've mentioned before that Birmingham is about 5 - 10 years behind the nation on having really exceptional dining venues, and just becuase you charge more for meals does not make you a high end destination. Tavern had promise but Ive only gone because it was convenient and the family liked it. I won't be going back. Hopefully others more attuned to the Birmingham vibe can direct me to other Sunday gathering spots. BTW I prefer local vs chain.
0 for 2 on service. Both times were out of a menu item ordered by someone in the party and they weren't informed until 20 minutes after the order was placed. 6 in our group. Entrees delivered to table at 4 different times. Wrong side order, had to ask 3 times to get the correct one. Would have given them a 2, but the food was pretty good.
We had so much fun there was 16 of us are Waitress was phenomenal she took everyone’s order and brought everyone’s order Back at the same time it was amazing I never had service like that before with a large crowd and the restaurant was packed we were there tonight New Year’s Eve it was really good. And the food was Delicious I had an awesome time I had a martini that was GREAT!!!!! I would definitely recommend this place and I’m definitely coming back and the prices were great.
Company Christmas Party - book somewhere else. Inadequate service for Party of 20 and awkward set up. We were put against a wall in tables of 4 - 8. The restaurant is very loud and it was difficult to talk with the person sitting beside you, much less the person across the table. They did not serve the table properly. They served each dish to the person who ordered it. That left the person sitting beside you without their entree. Since it is impolite to begin eating until the person beside you gets their food, that meant the people served 1st ate cold food. We should have been served table by table. The food was just average, would recommending looking elsewhere to host a company Christmas party.
