My family loves the fried chicken plate and shrimp and grits plate. I normally get one of their healthy salads. However, I've been disappointed the last few months that I've ate at The Grill because they no longer serve their Thai Salad. That was the best salad I've ever had. I sure do wish they would add it back to the menu b/c I'd eat it at least once a week!
Watched a football game on it's big screen there. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious. Probably the best salmon dish I've ever had.
I have eaten here several times & each time, I enjoy it more & more! I know have my family & coworkers just as addicted to eating here as I am. Every dish is fantastic & the service is awesome.
Update:
Stopped in for a quick lunch on the way home. BLT was super good w/ a fried green tomato. Definitely will come back a try something else since it all looked great. Local beer on tap to!
Went back and ordered a hamburger. It was way over cooked and fishy tasting like they grilled it on the same spot they grilled salmon. It was just awful. They took it off the check. My sister and niece were happy with their sandwiches. Ultimately, there are too many great places to eat in Birmingham to waste anymore time here. It's a great place to come have a beer though.
The ambience was good, service was fantastic, beer was cold and the food looked great. The ramen was highly recommended online so I ordered it. It did not live up to the hype, imo, but definitely good enough that'll I'll be back to try something else.
