I had a birthday party herr for my 12 year old daughter. Everything was fine until toward the end of the party the DJ/owner didn't want to play any of the songs my daughter and her friends requested even though they followed his rules. I had to have words with him. I thought that was rude and unnecessarily since I had already paid so much for the party anyway.
The owner ripped me a new one in front of my kids, reprimanding a over something I was not aware of. She was nasty and rude in how she handled it. I will never be back. Never in my 48 yrs have I ever been talked to from a business owner like this. I'm appalled. Being professional in handling something so minor could have changed this.
We really enjoyed our trip. It was great!
The owner was nice to my daughters and she also allowed them to come in and skate at a discounted rate...Also the music was appropriate for any age. It sort of reminded me of when I was a child on Saturday mornings at the old Valley Skating Rink.
Showing it's age, but still a lot of fun. Rental skates could use a refresh. No real problems, just a little dated.
