Randstad did not work for me. It may for others. I hope so.
On a positive note: The staff, itself, is very pleasant and enthusiastic as well professional.
My resume is built on a strong administrative/secretarial background; however, unfortunately, with my first impression I had with the staff, I left with a positive feeling as though I would have an opportunity to be placed in a working environment that would require my skills.
I was very disappointed with my personal experience provided by the Birmingham Randstad office.
I would give them no stars if I could. They never call back and lie
They are very inconsistent, you come prepared to have a great interview feeling like you will be placed somewhere and working right away.. Unfortunately that is not the case. The recruiters inform you of assignments that fit your resume/background @ the time of your interview but later on contact you about other assignments/positions that don’t relate to your background whatsoever. I feel as if my time was wasted or I was mislead on the strength of we appreciate your time coming in to interview but if you can’t work where we want to place you then you’re not applicable. Might I add you will be consistently calling and reaching out to them instead of them calling or reaching out to you.
