Awesome! Was there for my friends' wedding and it was a gorgeous venue for it! I have always loved Vulcan... Never thought about having a wedding there, but what a great idea!

Great little park on top of the mountain overlooking the city of Birmingham. The park is well kept and has a little museum/gift shop on the property. There is a picnic area as well for lunch and the views from the park are excellent. It costs a little bit to go through the museum or to go up Vulcan but the park is free if you're pinching pennies. A great place for an afternoon excursion!

Great view, bring a jacket if it's a cold night, quite windy that high up. Staff is great! Friendly, accommodating, great place for meetings.

Came for a visit to Alabama and was brought to this location by friends. The view of the city is amazing and I thought it was a great spot to take pictures. They have a small museum there that provides a lot of historical information along with a gift shop. As for the large tower, you can either walk up the stairs from the inside to the top or they have an elevator. Recommend checking this place out!!

Majestic... gorgeous views and a great deal of history... this town has strong roots and through the stories in the museum you see how Birmingham became strong. We owe a great deal to the hard working men and women that built this world... they were amazing and resilient
