This was a very disappointing experience. My dad ordered flowers from Continental and requested delivery to my law firm at a particular time. Unfortunately, due to a medical emergency at Continental, the flowers were late and I was gone from the office. We called to discuss, expressed our understanding about the emergency and our desire for a phone call letting us know that the time sensitive delivery would be late. The man at Continental, offered to deliver to my home and my dad declined and said I would receive them when I returned to work the following day.
I called today with a same-day delivery order for a family member's birthday, and the employee that I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful, as well as very thorough in her questions about what sort of bouquet I was looking for. The price was very reasonable and the delivery was made far more quickly than I had anticipated. My relative was absolutely thrilled with the flowers and gushed about how beautiful and unique the entire order was, right down to the vase. Continental Florist is now at the top of my list whenever I might need to send flowers in the Birmingham area in the future.
So helpful. Lady that took my order really helped me. I called at the very last minute of the day and she still helped me. I will not forget this place or her. Thank you for your kindness.
This is the first time I have reviewed a business, it was pretty bad.
Without our knowledge, Continental returned to my office and demanded the flowers back, placing our staff in a terrible position. The flowers were removed from my office and taken away. We understood that the flowers would remain and declined Continental's offer for a refund when offered. The individual who came to pick up the flowers reported the cost of the bouquet to our staff and was generally unprofessional. We understand that medical emergencies happen, and hate that it did. However, I have never heard of a florist returning to an office and demanding the return of delivered flowers, especially when a refund was not requested.
I am super disappointed in the service and handling of this order. We will never use this florist again, there are lots of options in Birmingham. My dad was trying to do something nice for me on a special occasion. I hear the flowers were beautiful . . .
I had a great experience ordering from Comtinental. I needed to send a bouquet to a family member in Birmingham, but I live in North Carolina. I gave them a call and explained what I wanted and they took care of it! Even sent me a picture of it before delivery (same day). Thank you!
Thanks for the great service on such a short notice. The Thomas Kincaid Christmas arrangements was beautiful. My daughter loved it. I will be ordering again from y'all. Cody was very nice and pleasant to talk to over the phone. It was definitely a 5 star service.
