Brownell is a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, and I was upgraded to a gorgeous 1-bedroom suite with a sweeping view of Lake Michigan. Each Maine hotel had its own ambiance, from the rustic structure of the White Barn Inn to a wide-angle view of the ocean at the Inn by the Sea. The Inn at Sunrise Point was an especially inviting place with wonderful breakfasts served by the owner and cozy, warm accommodations in a cottage with a private deck looking out on beautiful West Penobscot Bay.
The view from our upgraded room at the Four Seasons in Boston was amazing, overlooking Boston Common and the Public Garden. The White Barn Inn in Kennebunkport was beyond our expectations, with another upgrade, a spa experience and an unbelievable dinner.
